WWW (Wordless Wednesday with Words): San Diego Zoo tiger slide show

By
Real Estate Agent with HomeSmart Realty West CalBRE #01458572

If you leave a comment, Jim will visit your blog and leave a comment. The San Diego Zoo has five Malayan tigers in residence, but they usually spend most of their time sleeping.

Unfortunately, their sleeping quarters are out of view of the general public.

A recent visit, though, found three of the tigers running and frolicking.

Well, maybe running and frolicking might be putting it a little too strongly, especially for one of them.

You'll understand.

Just enjoy the slide show that I've put together for you. If the slide show here doesn't work on your computer, click here to watch it at slide.com. And remember to put the Zoo and the tigers on your "must see" list of places to go and things to see when you come to the 2009 Convention of the National Association of Realtors in November.

Nice shots, Jim.  Our local mascot is the Tiger, but rarely do they move when we are at a zoo that has them.  Looks like you had some good Tiger action.  Ours is usually only on the football field.

Hi Jim - I love tigers (but then I love all cats, big and small).  My favorite slides are the ones with them on their backs.  Makes me want to rub their tummies like my cats enjoy!

Hey, Andrea - I'll have lots more peaks of lots more San Diego between now and the 2009 NAR Convention here.

Hey, Melissa - You don't have to worry. They are behind wire and glass at the Zoo.

Hey, Suma - Just bring your son with you when you come to the 2009 NAR Convention here in November.

Hey, Matt - They are a little bigger than our cats, but cute nonetheless.

Hey, Suesan - The next exhibits at the Zoo really let us see the bigger cats in all their splendor. The male and female African lions were moved into their new exhibit, so I got to see them yesterday in their sleeping room, which now has a glass window so we can at least see them, even if they are sleeping.

Hey, Rita - I'll take just about any animal that has spots or stripes, but the cats win me over every time.

Hey, Dan - Zoey the Cool Cat is blushing.

Hey, Jim - I watched the LSU Tigers at the college world series. There's just no comparing football, baseball, and basketball tigers to the real thing - LOL.

Hey, Betina - Glad you liked it. I could sit here and look at the big cats all night.

Hey, Susan - Those are my favorite, too. I'm a sucker for almost any animal lying on its back with its tummy exposed.

Maybe the San Diego Zoo will eventually renovate the Malayan tiger exhibit so that they are more visible, kind of like they did the lions.
