In the June 24th ActiveRain Newsletter I was featured in "Member Spotlight".

I'm not one who usually needs or wants awards, trophies or certificates - but this "recognition" felt great.

I've been actively blogging on ActiveRain since April 2008 and during this time I've made some really great online friends. I've learned so much about Search Engine Optimization, "Google Juice", and have noticed a marked improvement in my writing style (not to mention more interesting topics to blog about).

I've learned about towns I'd never heard of before and discovered things I never knew of.

I've participated in many passionate and sometimes heated political debates and have enjoyed the sharing of opinions.

I've also has success with online leads and have been interviewed by the media as a direct result of ActiveRain.

It's all been a good experience.

"Thank you" to the Management and staff at ActiveRain for creating this wonderful online community and for providing this extremely useful and informative resource for its members.
