I am not going to be watching the TMZ reports,CNN and any of that they are talking about right now, I hope that they get back on the real story and not about the court case like they have been talking about so far and all of the finances and debt about him

Michael Jackson

The story should be the good things that he had done in his life that would be what they should be covering.

We are the world video watch below.

Read his wiki page here

Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009) was an American recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. Referred to as the "King of Pop" in subsequent years, five of his solo studio albums have become some of the world's best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).

In the early 1980s, he became a dominant figure in popular music and the first African-American entertainer to amass a strong crossover following on MTV. The popularity of his music videos airing on MTV, such as "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and Thriller-credited for transforming the music video into an art form and a promotional tool-helped bring the relatively new channel to fame. Videos such as "Black or White" and "Scream" made Jackson an enduring staple on MTV in the 1990s. With stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style influenced hip hop, pop and contemporary R&B artists.

Jackson donated and raised millions of dollars for beneficial causes through his foundation, charity singles and support of 39 charities. Other aspects of his personal life, including his changing appearance and behavior, generated significant controversy, damaging his public image. Though he was accused of child sexual abuse in 1993, the criminal investigation was closed due to lack of evidence and Jackson was not charged. The singer has experienced health concerns since the early 1990s and conflicting reports regarding the state of his finances since the late 1990s. Jackson married twice and fathered three children, all of which caused further controversy. In 2005, Jackson was tried and acquitted of further sexual abuse allegations and several other charges.

One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records-including one for "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time"-13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career-more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era-and the sales of over 750 million albums worldwide. Cited as one of the world's most famous men, Jackson's highly publicized personal life, coupled with his successful career, has made him a part of popular culture for almost four decades.

After being taken to the hospital in a coma, Jackson was reportedly pronounced dead on June 25, 2009.[3]

Whatever you think of Michael Jackson in the later years, he was still a father who left behind three small children.  I feel bad for them to have lost their parent at such a young age.  That's what I will focus on.

Brandon,

Wow today 2 stars passed away. I did not hear about Michael Jackson. I agree the story should be about the good things he has done with his life. Unfortunately in our culture when you are famous you are in the public eye and they want to know ALL about you. Your life is an open book. Hardly any room for mistakes.

Wow, being in my 40's, he was certainly a part of my life during High School. Even though I no longer listen to his music having gravitated to Jazz, Opera and Classical Music, I feel a great sense of loss upon reading your post. May he rest in peace.

It really did come as a shock.  It's unfortunate and hopefully the kids will be OK.  Regardless of the strange behavior he displayed in his later years, he WAS/IS an ICON.

Michael was so much a part of my younger life and I remember sitting on a friend's porch when I was 12 listening to him sing. Magical, lyrical and irresistible! That is how I remember him best, singing "I'll Be There" and "Rockin Robin". Of course, his "Thriller" album was more than amazing! I am in tears and know there will be no one who will replace him...but hope he is now in a better place. Rest well Michael.

Thank you if I feel so sad. I can not imagine how his family feels. I know how hard it is to lose someone so special. His siblings adored him and I am sure his kids are hurting . I saw him in New York with his brothers for his twenty fifth year in show biz and he was amazing. I could dance that fast for around ten minutes. He was so blessed. Thanks for your comment.

Hi Brandon, They say these things come in 3's but never would I have imagined MJ.... I'm 49 so his music was the sound track of my life & my 2 daughters who are 25 & 27 were hit just as hard as I was ,,, but we did reminise of the days of us dancing around the house listening to his music and driving around town as we went about our daily routines and yes we also talked about tbe weird life he led but somehow that just didn't seem as important now as the music he created for us to all enjoy . All the best

What a tragedy this is.  He apparently just took such poor care of himself that it came to this. His poor kids and family.
