THE SATISFACTION OF HELPING PEOPLE

By
Mortgage and Lending with Equity Plus, Inc.

Hey everyone,

Besides the fact that we make good money and have control of our time, there is another great aspect of this job. Helping people become homeowners. There is nothing like the feeling of talking to a client who has been through hard times, living with the in-laws with 4 kids, feeling helpless, and you get them into a home!

I am currently working with clients who have had a bump in the road. The last couple of years has been very hard for them. I am working with them using a Chase Rural loan. They have picked out their house and are so excited. They are putting a contract on it today!

Not only am I helping people who thought there was no chance, I am ensuring future business. These clients are going to tell everyone they know how I helped them. Remember, you have the power to control your reputation as a real estate professional.

Thanks,

Amanda

You're absolutely right.  I was thinking yesterday about this.  I work with a lot of first- time buyers and I really enjoy that.  Recently I seem to have had a bunch of wealthier clients doing different types of things, which is great for money (IF anything actually closes).  But, it's not near as much fun or as satisfying as working with those people who are just tickled with their new homes!

Helping others achieve their homeownership dreams is one of the best parts of this business.  If you use it properly, these people can be walking billboards for you.

Absolutely! Also usually the first time homebuyers are more loyal to you!  I get alot of referrals from my first time homebuyers!

You are right on the money.  I love working with the same group.  I would rather make less money and see people have their own home.  Money is not everything.

I couldn't agree with you more, money isn't everything. How about your conscience and peace of mind? I grew up with six siblings, we didn't have much money. But we sure did have fun. We had a roof over our heads and food to eat. My husband and I have 4 kids and we are by no means well to do, but boy is life good. Our kids are healthy, we have a nice home, and we spend a lot of time together. What more could you want?
