  • Removing weeds can definitely help sell a home.  A low-maintenance yard is appealing to many buyers.  A yard with a lot of weeds can be very intimidating to potential buyers, and possibly ruin a chance of receiving an offer.
  • Pruning trees that are touching a home will allow buyers to get a better look at the home before viewing the inside.  It is important to make a good impression before buyers enter the home.
  • Impress buyers by adding mulch and planting annuals.  There a new mulches available that retain color throughout the year.  Planting low-maintenance annuals like impatiens, petunias, and geraniums can brighten the yard. These changes will add a lot of color to the landscape, and make it stand out from the competition.
  • Powerwashing the entire home can make it look new.  Remove cobwebs, dirt on decks, patios, fences, windows, etc.  It is important not to get the water under the siding courses or in soffit vents, where the moisture can cause damage.
  • Buyers love nice outdoor spaces to entertain.  A nice conversation area can be created by arranging chairs and a table near an attractive feature in the yard.

Good tips Don, I would just add painting the front door if is anyting less than perfect.
