The village of Meadowvale became part of Mississauga in 1968. It was developed as a family neighbourhood around a series of trails and parks which connect to 2 man made lakes, Aquitaine and Wayukayne.  With established neighbourhoods, schools and infrastructure it remains a popular area of Mississauga for families. New development over the last 5-7 years has pushed the Westerly boundary of Meadowvale over to 9th Line.
