If you are any where close to Tupelo, MS you have got to be a the Elvis Presley Festival tonight and tomorrow. It is the 7th annual festival and it is packed with fun, food and music.

Tonight we have a local favorite Paul Thorn who will serve up his brand of blues and folk music. Paul was a boxer before getting beat by Roberto Duran and then turned his focus to music. He is a much better singer than boxer. Paul has a unique sound and flavor I have never heard any where else. Daryl Worley will perform after Paul Thorn. Daryl is a Nashville recording star famous for "have you forgotten" the tribut song that reminds people of how they felt on 911. Daryl has toured in Iraq bring his music to the troops. He seems to be one of the good guys in Nashville. Join us tonight the Music starts at 6:30 with Cigar Box Indians.

Saturday night will be very special. Taylor Hicks of American Idol stardom will be in town and will perform music from his album. We are excited to have one of the American Idol stars here to help us celebrate Elvis. Ingram Hill will also perform. If you are from Memphis you have probably heard of Ingram Hill. They are a rock band based there and are doing very well on the tour scene.

While taking a break from all this you can enjoy the carnival with the kids. Located just east of front street there are lots of rides to spin you head. I would suggest hitting the carnival before stopping to taste all the great food. You can find anything from gyro's to BBQ.
