Saturday Scenery at Meeteetse

Robert A. Swetz (aka Vegas Bob) has a fun photo sharing group called CLOUDS AT ACTIVERAIN (clouds attached) . He created this group in September 13, 2008 and, as of June 27, 2009, the next person who joins the group will be subscriber #100! Who will that be?

You are welcome friend! After seeing your photo, I knew you would like this one. :) I actually was surprised to see the similar photo on your post today and the resemblance to the photo I had taken earlier this morning (the one on this post). What a coincidence! Thank you for the Feature.

Great angle Gerry. Is this a fence top or a mail box design?

The mountaintops look so pretty with white tops. We have lots of mountains here in Hawaii but few have white tops.

It is actually sitting on top of a sign made out of wood that is at the entrance of the subdivision. Here is the full picture.

GERRY, you do have an eye for photography, Great shot of the clouds with the black silhouette in the foreground of the stagecoach and horses. Super image and a great place you live. BTW, very interesting name, is it Indian derivative?

Thanks for the positive comments! It sure is a great place to live and I am grateful for living in such a place. I really don't know where the name Meeteetse came from but I will guess it has something to do with the natire Americans. I will do some research and try to answer this question.
