There was a time I would spend hours (it seems) on Active Rain blogging, reading, commenting. Then I went to a couple of REBAR camps.  First one in Fredericksburg, VA and  then one in Philly.  I got introduced to Twitter, which I didn't like at first. Facebook took up some time.  I have my "Outside Blog" and now I have a Photo Blog.

Of course, I still have a real estate business to tend to.  Buyers still need attention and Sellers still need killer marketing.  I guess I just need to figure out a time to get all this stuff done.  More importantly, I need to remember not to get sucked into the computer the way some people get sucked into TV.  I'll need an intervention and 12 step group.

I'm OK.  I can stop anytime I want....really.

No...really.

Ken,

I wrote a nearly identical post once. almost word for word...12 step and the whole thing!

It's true, we MUST find the balance. I still think doing the old fashioned things like phone calls, ect are VERY important, perhaps even more so in our cyber world.

Got as giggle, I empathize!

Ken, the computer sure can take up a lot of time and attention, particularly when I'm not cognizant of how much time has passed.

Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Ken ~ I'm right there with you believe me!!  I found myself thinking recently one day "If only it (real estate!!!) would slow down - I would have time to blog".  Nuts! It really is a killer right now - I'm very busy with work-work and blogging at night until really really late.

I too learned about photo blogs at REBarCamp in Boston.  I had found some online but it didn't click that that's what they were until the session in Boston.  I've been taking so many photographs for my blog that it would be great thing to do a photo blog.  I love yours by the way.

Ken: Unfortunately I think many of us can't stop if we want to stay ahead of the curve. The modern human is becoming more and more "electronic media dependent"

BethAnn -- Great minds think alike.  :-)

Andrew -- You're right. It can take up a lof time, especially if you're not paying attention to how much time it is eating up.

Elizabeth -- thanks for the compliment.  I got that and my blog and website from Dakno Marketing.  They do a reall good job and they're very repsonsive and communicative which I think is very important.

Matt -- You may be on to something there.

HelpfulHannah -- Love the REBAR Camps, for sure!
