If you leave a comment, Jim will visit your blog and leave a comment.I was over at the San Diego Zoo recently, and on my way out to the parking lot after my visit, I passed a car with an unusual graphic on it.

Now I know that there are pigs at the Zoo -- wild ones, not people ones -- well, there are people pigs at the Zoo, too, but nonetheless....

I didn't know that the Federal Stimulus money and our desire for universal health care had already created the Swine Flu Response Team. I wonder if they were checking the pig pigs or the people pigs.

Oh Lordy.

I don't get Cali on so many points. 33 years of born/raised/lived there and it seems more like a different planet to me with every turn . . . are there even enough recorded and confirmed cases of swine flu to warrant the outlay of tax bucks for something like that?

I love your cats! :) :)

Hi Jim: Have there been a lot of cases of swine flu in your area?

Hey Jim... all we can say is "oink oink".  That car looks like one of our police cars, but they changed the logo, can you send it back?

Hey, Candice - I think there are some legitimate reasons why it's expensive to live in California.

Hey, Matt - I think we've had 12 cases and three deaths, but I'm not real sure. I haven't kept up on it much since I don't really hang around with the pigs.

Hey, Al and Peggy - Are you missing a police car? After all, this is California. No telling what is here that came from some place else.

Hey, Jim - Good point. Isn't it funny that pigs and politicians both start with p and end with s. There has to be something to that.

This is crazy and an example of perpetuating, rather than quelling fear in a community.

This seems like an odd use of those funds. I am sure the money could be better spent on a real issue instead of some silly health scare. If they had to do this why not use a cute piggy on the logo?!?
