Pitchman Billy Mays dies at his home in Florida...the man known for selling his Oxi Clean products has passed on today. He just recently launched his own TV show.

The television and music industry has lost so the many this week. I wonder what's going on?

He might not have been considered a celebrity but if you've seen him before...then you would know he has been in many commercials.

This guy could sell anything....I can't believe yet another TV personality has left us ...what a short life he had.

So sad that another life has ended so early. Yes, Billy could sell, but did you notice he was always smiling? A smile says alot, about confidence for one thing.  There might be a lesson here.

Neal - I just saw this news a bit earlier - what the heck?  I loved the "Pitchmen" show - it was one of my new favorites.

He had a fan base.  Not many commercial or infomercial celebrities sign autographs.  If it is my destiny to pass early, I hope I can leave with have achieved at least one tenth of the success he had.  It seems he didn't have a silver spoon and he did it all himself.

I just read the notice, and what caught My eye...the fact that he was on that flight with the hard landing AND he was interviewed afterwards and stated that he hit his head on the ceiling! Methinks the autopsy will take longer than usual, because a lawsuit could be pending against the airline! Concussions are silent killers!

THis was truly "the Death of a Salesman".  All of us in real estate can appreciate Billy Mays for his ability to capture the core elements of whatever product he was "pitching" and conveying it's attributes to the public with conviction and believability.  He was a great salesman and gentleman.
