Help Please - I Need Facebook Fans to Get My URL in an Hour! Updated

I just learned that in order to get a vanity URL on Facebook I need to have 25 fans. It turns out it's 100, not 25. I read the Facebook rules rather than the other post I saw.

I had no idea.

If you would be so kind as to become a fan on my pages, I will gladly return the favor.

Hi Christine! I did the same as Kathleen--both pages. My question to you--when you go to my page, do you even have a box to become a fan? I can't see my 'fan' box from my page. Where do you get the fan option?

Also, did you get my email? Do you have a short sale website yet or is that what you're creating?

The become a fan is on the business page not the personal profile page. I'll take a look at your "page" in a bit and see what you have.

Regarding short sale site, that's what I'm working on at the moment. I thought I sent an email or voice mail back?

Christine - I am now a fan. By the way, I think they are opening this up at midnight Eastern time, so it should be in about 3 hours.

Hi Christine ~ Is this so? Even tonight when the clock strikes whatever time? I find this all so confusing to tell you the truth. I spend very little time on Facebook so have never mastered the ins and outs. I'm trying to create a page but I'm banging my head against the wall - I *think* I've created it but beats the daylights out of me how to even find it. I did become a fan of both of yours. Good luck with it all.

I had this open on my screen while I talked to a client. Now I can read the new comments that came in. Like Debe I don't see the box to become a fan on my business page - one of the reasons I was banging my head against the wall. Plus I think facebook is very busy tonight - I keep getting error messages.

Most important - what's the link to reserve the fan page name at midnight - does anybody know?

Make sure that you have published your fan pages. This can be an issue, and one that I've had.

Also, the link for tonight is www.facebook.com/username.

Debe - What name is you fan page under? I searched Debe Maxwell, and all I found was your profile page. As I wrote in my other Facebook post, you can't fan a profile page.

Jason - You're right. At some point, I converted midnight EST to 9:00 pm PST and then reconverted it again to 3 hours earlier. And, still not enough fans on my page. Oh well, maybe in a day or two.

Liz - I think I found your Facebook profile page, though I'm not certain as there's no picture. As I told Debe above, you can't fan a profile page. Check out my Facebook post about all of this.
