I took this in Ireland.  Caanamarra is the part of Ireland where they raise black sheep - and white sheep.  But you can actually buy a sweater made from the wool of an Irish black sheepl

How cool is that?

Oh MY! It's all I can say other than that I truly hope to make it there one day. My grandfather was born in Ireland and I think it would be amazing to visit.

Hi Pat!
This is absolutely beautiful! You must feel so "connected" when you are there!

By the way, I just read your verbage at the bottom of your post. It is nicely written.  May I use it for a version of my own?  Also, how in the world do you make that little "c" with a circle? ;o)

Very pretty.  It looks like a scene from one of those period pieces on Masterpiece Theatre. What did you do with the ladies in big hats palaying croquet?

It really makes me want to go.

Hi Everyone!  Western Ireland is truly an awsome place.  I was there to play my flute at a friend's wedding, and this was the view from the window of the little hotel where we stayed.  The mountains are in a range called "The Pins".    If you have Ireland on your Bucket List, this is a beautiful part of the country.  It's small enough that you can see a lot of it - I'd recommend renting a convertable and keeping the top down!

Patricia,

What a gorgeous shot.  I love the green grass, water, mountains & the blue sky & clouds as the back drop.  I could relax there all afternoon.

Have they given Ireland back to the Irish, yet? I was supposed to go to Ireland in 1979 I think it was, but with all the fighting over there, I postponed it, a postponement that has now lasted 30 years! LOL
