Active Rain.  I can't stand you.  I'm obsessed.  Really!!!!   I got "talked into" joining you and you promised me all this wonderful things and delivered on nothing.  Of course, to be fair, I didn't know my head from my ying yang when it came to cyberspace.  I knew how to check e-mail but that's about it.  '

Of course you've changed me.  As a result, you turned 35 today.  That means that you've given me my 35th referral this past weekend.  Of course, I had to do all the work.  I had to write a post on non-occupant co-borrowers and educate the public.  I decided to let the world know what I had to say by using you as my forum.  I could have gone with microsoft or blogged on my company website, but I chose to honor YOU by investing in your website.

I've wasted so much time building relationships within Active Rain and in the cyberspace community.  Yes, I've developed quite a following, but what have you done for me?  Sure you've given me 34 prior referrals.  Yes, those referrals came from people who wouldn't have seen me had I not used Active Rain.  Yes, I've received referrals from others in the Active Rain community as well.  OK, OK, OK...just leave me alone....

OK, I said, I received this 35th referral this weekend because of you.  But hey, I had to talk to the client and come in this weekend to work.  Listen...I know the economy stinks.  I know that the world is full of gloom and doom.  If you hadn't given me my 35th referral, I could have spent more time with my family instead of providing for my family.  How rude!!!!!!  I can't believe that Active Rain wouldn't counsel the client and take the loan application for me.   I had to actually print the docs from the borrower so that I could get this loan in for underwriting. 

I'm sure that there's something redeeming about Active Rain....I'm just not sure what it actually is.  Can you please give me some reasons why I should faithfully connect with other Active Rain Members?  Why should I blog?  I mean I'm 45 and you've only given me 35 referrals.  I'm sure one day you'll be older because you've given me more referrals, but I resent you because at 35 you have me by 10. 

I'm sure that I'll come up with some good reasons to continue to be invested here, but as of now, you've ruined my life.  I'm not copying rate sheets anymore and buying donuts to give to realtors.  I'm just getting referrals.
