Welcome to Active Rain. I've featured this in the 'My other blog is ..." group but you really want to use more words in any entry on ActiveRain. I don't believe Google will find an entry unless it is at least 50 words.

I think that's why we don't get points unless there are at least 50 words.

Wow thank you so much for letting me know. I am still learning the ropes of search engine optimization and the benefits of blogging, and am new to active rain. I can see from your high point level that you are quite good at this! Thank you again for the advice.

Good work Rachel. It was hard to even open the post except from directly from the group or clicking on your blog. It looked like from your blog and profile but it did not register because of not enough words. You want it to show on Google (and other search engines too.. I guess... I'm still learning about SEO too) if you are trying to use it to get readers to your real blog.

I lived in Akron in the 80's. I used to go cross country skiing near Hudson. Adorable town back then I've heard it's even nicer now.
