Does your Dog do this?Dog Under Blanket

We have this little dog. She is a cross between a Chihuahua and maybe Poodle?  Anyway, she is a sweet dog, but must get cold a lot!

Kinzie loves to get underneath a blanket and cover herself up like a baby. Notice how I said she likes to. We don't do the covering, she does! She scoots herself and flips the blanket up with her head until she is all the way under like she likes it.

Anyway we go through a lot of blankets around here. And we just love her to death. Just think it's so cute and funny the way she just has to be under the covers all of the time.

Does your dog do this too?

How cute.  My pup tends to do that in the wintertime.  Of course she will nudge me until I make an opening for her to get under the blanket.  I used to have a cat that loved to sleep under the blanket too.

No, my dog doesn't do that.  But he does routinely bury his face between the cushions of the sofa, it's like if he can't see us he thinks we can't see him.  He does it often when it's bed time.

Hi Chanda--I guess they do get cold and love to cuddle. I don't know what mine would do without a blanket.

Tammy--that is so funny. I would love to see a picture of that.

Dinah--don't you just love dogs and their different personalities?

Wendy - that is so cute, dogs just want to be where we are. My dog does not get under the covers, but me likes to get on the pillows.

Marc--she does look like that sometimes. I look at her bed on (the blanket on the floor) and just see the tip of her nose sticking out sometimes. She must feel very comfortable under those blankets.

Sharon--yes, you are right dogs like to be near us. I have at least 2 blankets on the floor in the corner for her as her bed(s) at a time. Like I said, we go through a lot. And a lot of washings. She gets every old comforter or blanket we have nearly.

She needs to teach my dog how to do that.  I have to do the covering around this house!  Too cute!

My Mother's little poodle also has to be under the covers and we're afraid he'll smother one of these days.  Your little one is adorable!

Terry--that is so funny. Your dog just knows how to work it!

Susan--Ahhh, so maybe she is part poodle and it is a poodle like thing. I know what you mean about smothering. I am also afraid I might step on her by accident. She sometimes has the blankets strewn all over and is tucked neatly inside.
