With the Fourth of July just a couple days away, I am feeling very patriotic. I have my flag out in front of my home and I am looking forward to fireworks...

I ran across this famous photo and thought it was appropriate to post it.

Never Forget

When 9/11 hit I was right in this chair and I will NEVER FORGET.

We must remember that day and the people who died. For some reason it feels like yesterday to me...

We will never forget.  Every day we are reminded of just how tenuous life is and can be.

Charles,

Certainly a sad reminder but something we should never forget.

Charles thanks for posting a real symbol of our freedom and the cost it often takes.  I think there is no one who was alive in the USA that will ever forget where he/she was when 9-11 was announced and we all looked at the devastation in our own backyard.

Very powerful photo. It was that day that ultimately got me into real estate just so I could reduce the amount of flying I was doing.

Tonights my VA Hopsital visit.  We take food and drinks out and play bingo with the patients and hand out cash and VA bucks to be used in the commisary.  Its shocking to see the number of Iraq Veterns from both wars that we cater to. Find a Vet or a family of a Vet and thank them for their service.

I have not decided where to watch the fireworks.  NYC, Washington DC or Boston.  Perhaps I will see two displays.  Picture in Picture has some advantages, HDTV is freat.  I can be in any city I want and never have to leave home!

Hello Charles, I will NEVER forget either. Like you, I remember exactly where I was, and can clearly see the TV reports as I sat in total shock, hardly believing what I was looking at. A good reminder for this holiday weekend.
