Okay, so I'm supposed to share five things about myself that you all don't know and probably don't really care to know! So here ya go!

1.   I have been exceptionally blessed and fortunate to be married for nearly 25 years to the most beautiful, patient, and supportive woman on the planet, my partner and best friend, Janice.

2.   I have four of the most awesome kids a Dad could ever hope for! Emily (age 20, is my princess); Ben (age 18, the worship leader); Elliot (age 16, the drummer, vocalist, and actor); and Luke (age 13, and future NFL quarterback and ESPN commentator)

3.   In a former life, I was a Regional Sales Manager for a subsidiary of Daimler-Chrysler, marketing Freightliner chassis and Thomas-Built school buses through over 50 dealers in 20 states.

4.   I spent four years proudly serving in the US Navy and most of that time was spent underwater in a ballistic missile submarine.

5.   Shortly after moving to Washington, I started trading e-mails with Matt Thiessen, lead singer of popular rock band "Relient K." Since then, we've taken them out crabbing, had them to our house for a BBQ, and sat onstage with them in concert at the Gorge Ampitheatre.
