This is my 100th post and my 100th Day on Active Rain.  First, I want to thank Dustin Luther for introducing me to Active Rain.  I have met so many great people, and really had the chance to see what Blogging and ActiveRain is all about.  I have countless success stories and have seen first-hand what Blogging and Networking can do for you and your business.  My goal was to invite 100 people (their photo's all over this post), create a blog with 100 posts, and share 100 things or reasons why Active Rain and blogging is worth the time and effort, and do it all in 100 days.  I have met my goal...  Now, can I do this post in 100 words or less?  Hmmm.. LOL!

It's time to spread my Eagle's wings.  Yes, you will still see me around the rain, it's just that I want to use the information and knowledge I have learned from all of you (you know who you are, way too many to list), and Pay it forward to others.  It's time I help them with the success of their business and Blogs.  Blogging, as we all know, is new, exciting, and very beneficial to us in so many ways, it is just one more tool in our arsenal of success.  I want to provide more help and support to those individuals I've introduced to Active Rain, and also to those that I've met here too.  To me, this is PAYING IT FORWARD in the ultimate Active Rain style.  Now I hope to achieve a different level of success.  Giving back and Paying it forward is also my way of saying "Thank You" to all who have payed it forward to me.

I will still be running my other blogs, and trying to take them to the next level as well! TechKnowBabble, Real Estate 411, The Music Blog, What's Right With the World BlogThe Solano Referral Network Blog, and The Title and Escrow Blog.

Thanks to all of you for your kind and thoughtful comments!  I am sincerely touched by the amount of responses to this post!  I will still be out here, and all over the rain, but I'll be flying in stealth mode!  I will be refining my posts to bring more interesting information and value to my readers.  Quality, not quantity.

One way to help others and "Pay It Forward" is for me to spend more time commenting on "YOUR" posts!  I have spent so many hours posting myself, I feel I have neglected my readers by not commenting on theirs!  It's payback time!!  Look for me on your blog now....   :-)

The 100 people, 100 posts, 100 links, in 100 days was just a goal for me in the beginning.  I wanted to see if I could do it, and see what the benefits would be.  The only way I can convince others if a tool or service is worthy, is to be sold myself.  Active Rain is a No Brainer!!

Lastly, many have commented about our CD.  My wife and I will be starting the pre-production on our "musically married" Album sometime this month, and yes, it will be available online and to all you rainers, family, and friends.  We don't have a release date just yet, but we'll keep you "posted".

Wayne and Lynda - you're welcome and thank you!

Colleen - thanks for your help and comment.  It's actually "I" who am lucky to have to 104 people.  I'm even luckier to have the 33,000 members here.  You are the one who has taught me the meaning of "Paying it Forward".  Since the very beginning, you have been there to assist me. You set the example by your actions, and not just your words.  I know you sacrifice so much for others, I wonder, does anyone really know? You and the other moderators are unsung heroes and I praise you for all your valiant effort!

Neal - thanks!  We get along, because you hate when I change my photo, and I haven't done that for along time to you.  haha!  Thanks my friend for your support and friendship.

David - CONGRATS on nearing 85,000 points, that is alot of blogging!  Keep up the good job!

Craig - thanks, there was alot of heart put into this and the others, thanks for your comment, very much appreciated!

Rita - there's no rush to go through these, they aren't going anywhere, just bookmark, and come back to visit me once in awhile.  There is some time for sale, but it is not cheap.....

6:52pm • #59

Jeff - Thanks!!

Maggie - you are the best!  I will still be posting, just going to be more selective and targeted.  I have learned so much out here, and still have tons to learn.  Paying it Forward to others is the ultimate experience.  They say to learn something well, you must teach it.  Let's see if "they" were right.  I think a weekly post or two should keep me in the "Blog Till You Get To Heaven" contest.  I'm too far into it now to ever go back or quit!  I think the rainers out here call it addicted!  LOL  Thanks Maggie, I'll be coming around the mountain when I come, and hope to be riding 6 white horses!!  (Big Smile)

7:02pm • #60

Missy - if you need help with that signature, you let me know.  I'll walk you through it over the phone.  You can use any of my silly widgets on the right side over there to contact me.  I'd be happy to help you out! Sorry for the delay in these responses.  Been off the puter for a couple days..  :-)

Broker B - Thanks for your compliment! Coming from a "pro" like yourself, that lives on burnt toast, I can't tell you how much that means to me.  LOL  (Don't tell TLW I said that) Thanks for poppin by and I hope to see you more often now. Question: Is there a Flat Bryant going around the rain?  I heard a rumor...  :)

Ricardo - thanks for the comment, now I have to stop what I'm doing and go check out your 100th post...
I'll be right back....

ok...I'm back!  I thought your 100th post was great!  I think you're in denial though when you say "don't get addicted" LOL  It's great to see that localism.com is paying off for you and so many others.  Keep up the great blog and much success to you in the future....by the way...you are addicted!   :-)

Laura - the endeavor was fun, every step of the way...thanks! Bookmarked is just another way of saying...someday, I'll be back!  You're always welcomed!  :-)

Peggy - that has to be the nicest compliment I have received, thank you!  Not sure how the rain gods track these, but based on my research, there are posts and blogs bookmarked that I'm sure have been hit thousands of times.  If this one makes it in the running, I'd be surprised...and honored.  Thanks again!

Lisa and Robert - I don't know that I will ever be "accomplished" but the attempt and effort has sure been fun!  You guys are both great and I am happy to know you and be a part of your network!  Thanks!!

Janie- If I get 99 comments, I'd love the 100th to be yours!!  If I don't stop commenting here, I may hit 100 from just me (ha ha) LOL.

Ed - I'll do my best to not let you down.  I am in my second "Active Rain" semester now, and class has started for me as a blogger.  I hope you'll see great improvement in my blog and my internet skills in the future. Thanks again.

Kelli - this sucker took forever, I started writing it in MS Word around my 47th post.  100 seemed so far off at that time, but it was a goal, so I had to push and pursue it.  I added, erased, started over, changed my mind, switched the gears...just about everything you could imagine with this one post.  I guess you could say I am emotionally attached to this one.  Glad you liked it and will be coming back from time to time. There really is some very cool stuff here, and the showcase of widgets and gadgets you see on the right are all here too.  Enjoy!!

Maurice - I am glad you can use this!  That is my reward.  I know it's your first time here, but please come back as often as you like.  My posts should only get better.  If you like this one, you're going to LOVE 101!

Vicki - If only "one" were to pay it forward, it still makes a huge difference right?  That's what I'm hoping. And then maybe two...or three...next thing you know, everyone is paying it forward.  What a great concept!
Thanks for being inspired to "Pay It Forward" to someone else.  We need that fire to stay alive out here!

Marlene - Centennial?...hmmm that almost sounds "Patriotic"!  I like it, thank you!!   (Big Smile)

Sally - I appreciate the magic bus ride, and also your comment.  I'm not going away, just crawling out of my cacoon.  Once my wings are dry, I shall fly all over the rain and shower great tidings down to the people.  I have a vision....  I have a dream!  Watch out for the transition of "The Escrow Guy" to the.....

Eveline - thanks for the 100, the 5, and the bookmark.  Good luck on your 100th post coming soon.  I'll keep my eye out for it.  And, yes, the CD will be available online for our listeners at Brad's Music Blog.

Alexander - thanks for your comment.  The CD is our Album we will be releasing sometime in the near future.  If I could get off the computer long enough to start writing and recording, it would get done sooner than later.  Will there be a song on there about blogging? You bet!  I may use my blog to do the whole record.....hmmm, now there's an idea?!?    LOL

Diane - You can always pay it forward, it's hard to pay it back!  Thank you for your sweet comment.  :)

Debi - I actually joined AR on Feb. 25th and did my first (lousy) post on the 27th.  It does seem like I have been out here alot longer...time really does fly when you're having fun.  Thanks!

Christy - I am a blogging maniac, but I am also learning so much, so fast. It's a pace yourself kinda thing. I need to learn how to do that! LOL

Nattalie and Lea - Thank you. Enjoy!

Gary - Thanks.  Please put this post to use, don't make it a memorable one!  :)

Tim - It is amazing, all the things, tools, knowledge, and people on AR.  Thank you friend

Tim and Pam - Thanks, I will be by to comment on your blog too.  That's just paying it forward! :)

Joan - You are genuine, and I appreciate your comment.  I know there's alot here, hope you can reference it many times in the future.  You have to stop staying up till 4:00am, set your clock ahead 2 hours so you can ge to bed by 2:00.  Thanks Joan for just being you.  (Big Smile)!!!

Laurie - thank you.  Glad you checked it out.

Ray - Neal and I must be at the top of your Blog Subscription.  I noticed you gave Neal the credit for this post.  I'll tell you what, for Neal or You, I'd gladly give up this post in your honor.  I love when you comment on my blog and put "Neal".  It tells me you are up as late as the rest of us, and blogging away like a crazed blogging maniac.  It's like waking up in the middle of posting a comments and saying..."where the heck am I?"  LOL  You and your comments (and Neals) are always welcomed and appreciated. Thanks!

Lynda - 100 You're Welcomes!!!  -  Amazing might be pushing the envelope, but busy? You bet.  I feel a great sense of accomplishment with this post and all that I have witnessed up until this point.  I know I can't go back in life, and I know it's short.  Thanks for your support and kind words.  Very sincere and heartfelt, definately came through in your comment.  That means alot to me. Thank you.

Donna- thanks for your comment.  I hope the same for our CD, and kudos to you for being so supportive and encouraging.  I do hope you'll subscribe to my blog and be back to read some of my future posts.  You can also subscribe and receive them via email if yo prefer. (see the widget on the right). Thanks you.

Tony - the next 100 will be the toughest.  I've had dreams that I actually posted the same post twice not realizing it.  What do you write after 100 posts?  I'll need some space and time to figure that one out.  You'll notice my book library on the right. There are some great books on blogging.  Guess I better get to reading!!  LOL Thanks!!

Abraham - Oh I'll be regular, I eat lots of oatmeal and wheat bread...oh..you meant with my blog.. ok!  :-)

Jonathan - you will get to 100 too, just keep your head down and keep typing.  You'll also become a faster and better typist.  Just remember your audience and the content, content, content!  Thank you.  :-)

Jason - I appreciate that very much.  Now that I've started, you will see me around for years to come.  I look forward to meeting many of you in person someday too.  When I start my "Raining Tour" across the US and Canada, I'll be sure to stop by and visit you.  Maybe a cup of cocoa together or a cup of something. LOL  Till then, keep blogging and don't be a stranger here either.

Maureen - thank you, it's not the points that count on this one, it's the benefits of 100 days gone for my readers.  I'm glad you found this post, and were able to comment.  I look forward to reading your blog too!

Linda - a "keeper" is a rare word used on the rain.  Keepers are hard to find these days, so thank you for putting me up under the spotlight that way.  I hope everyone reads it too.  There are some really cool links here and awesome blogs.  I hope they don't just browse through it and miss all the "cool stuff" I posted here.  Thanks for your comment.

Kristal - there's that word again, "keeper"!  I love that word, it's so full of security and gratitude!  Makes me warm and fuzzy all over.  I always appreciate seeing your comments on my post and I am honored to have them here.  Looking forward to the next 100....over the next 100 years... :-)  LOL

Active Mike - The Mortgage Guy - I'll help out any way and as much as I can.  Let me know how you'd like me to assist you with that group.  Glad to do it!  You have been my hero out here since day one, it's the least I can do in "paying it forward" to you.  I'll call you later to give you details on the upcoming project with FATCO.  Thanks Bud!!

Maureen - Awe...the Prestigious Cookie Award, I have read about it, and heard about it on the streets.  You have no idea what that cookie means to me.  That was very kind and sweet of you!  Chocolate chip too, one of my favorites.... (yelling down the stairs...."Honey?  Do we have any Milk?")  Looks like the cookie won't make it through the end of this

                           mmmm...that was delicious!!

Cookies this good were meant to be eaten and appreciated!  I hope you know how much I appreciated it!

Brad,

Congrats on hitting the 100 post mark....I hope to be there someday.  Great post!  I checked out and am taking advantage of some of the great links that you've so graciously provided.  How's the market in Vallejo?  The market up here in Sacramento is starting to show some signs of life...but not much.  My wife is a nurse and to put it in a medical perspective, if our market were in a hospital, it would be in Intensive Care.  LOL.  Anyhow, I feel like the links you posted here are similar to the tools a doctor would have at his/her disposal to diagnose and help heal their patient.  Kudos to you and thanks for Paying It Forward!

Chris - the Vallejo Market is probably very similiar to the Sac market.  Starting to move a little but still lots of inventory, short sales, foreclosures etc.  If the market were a hospital right now, the best analogy I can think of is ALL PATIENTS, w/no doctors!!  LOL   Thanks Chris.  :-)

Shane - anytime.

Doreen - thanks for the very kind comment!  You are always so complimentary!!  It was my pleasure putting this post together, between you and I, (and anyone else that actually reads the comments) this was going to be my last post!  Colleen talked me out of it, I want to help others with blogging because I know it will help grow their business. I just don't have the time to do both, I am getting by, but have had to really reduce my blogging time in order to help the clients in  my area grow their business in this changing market. I love doing them both, but one pays more of the bills than the other right now.  :-)

Dionne - Thanks for that compliment, it's always nice seeing you at different events around town, great to know you're always looking for ways to grow and benefit from some of the activities we do.  PS. I love your REaltor Bling Bling!!  (Big Smile)

Brad,  Thank you for sharing your endless wealth of knowledge!  I can only imagine how long it took to pull this post together - you are awesome!  Bookmarked for 2008 plans of digging deeper to increase my techno knowledge base.

Jackie - this post took me forever. It was the results of a post I did about putting links in th comments of others posts.  Normally it's a no-no, but I was asking for them so I could build this post.  Glad you found it and feel the quality is there.  I only put the best of the best.

This post was done quite some time ago, and I have since discovered so many more tools, products, links and services.  Feel free to check out the bottom of my Profile Page, I have added so much more there with links to every post that you might find relative.  Thanks for commenting, I hope you have a successful and rewarding 2008!  :-)
