Gotta love the Bistro life ... even if your 16 year old wants his bottle in the picture.  This is the second picture we took - the first was very Parisian if you know what I mean.

That ol' Coke bottle looks suspiciously out of place. I can't believe you gave in to the demands of a 16-year-old. LOL

Eric - Indeed, it has already.  This trip was a few years back - I just found the pic and it struck me.

Lise - You'll get back there.  Something attractive about Paris.  In the meantime I'll drink wine for you anyway!

Bridget - Indeed - especially a fresh baguet.  Around home we are having fun with the many "boutique" breads coming in like kalamata olive, rosemary, garlic, etc.  Bread is fun again.

Sonja - It was business, indeed.  Actually was a trip with our Master Mind group - all agents.

Angelia - Wasn't that a Coke ad campaign?  If not, it should be.  I like how you said it.

Matt - Was it the bread and wine, or the word Bistro?  Bistro conjures up "comfort food" to me.

Judy - Have it the way you want it!  When I was 13 I went with my sisters to Victoria, B.C. as a reward from our parents for working so hard in the apple orchards. My sisters were intent on having tea and crumpets at the Empress.  We went there and ordered crumpets, but I ordered root beer with mine.  They still give me a bad time about that - and it was 44 years ago!

Charles - Thanks for the kind wishes.  It was - especially since my mom was with us - she was raised in Paris.  Very special times.

Monique - Nothing like a relaxing lunch when you don't have to work.  We would never do that at home - too many calls come in and the '80's are long gone.

Connie - Thanks for sharing - its nice to know when folks are moved by what we do.

Jessie - Yes they were.  Thanks.

Lisa - Thank you.  I guess I do have a propensity for taking pictures of meals I enjoy.

Rebecca - The Italians like to eat and enjoy wine as well - you can't go wrong in either country.

Matt - We had seconds as well ... well it sounded good - we didn't.

Jim - I got a great shot without it.  Then he set it up this way.  He was studying photography at the time and we enjoyed taking pictures all day long.  Were running around 300 pics a day over there - downloading to the laptop every night.  Gotta love digital photography!

Jim - One thing about Paris ... wine was everywhere.  Remember the champagne dinner and all the wine, even Chris had several glass fulls!

Hi Jim - Love the side-by-side of the French wine and the American Coca-Cola. I'm sure several memories were made on this trip.
