Fourth of July Free Events - Holly Springs NC
Fireworks and Music Sunday July 5, 2009
Enjoy an old-fashioned Independence Day celebration with fireworks and other family fun Sunday, July 5 at Womble Park from 5-9 p.m.
Admission is free and open to everyone.
Free entertainment includes music and inflatable slides and activities for the kids, in addition to the nightime fireworks! Food will be available.
The Holly Springs Police Department will lead a "bike and wagon" parade, which will circle the baseball fields. Kids are welcome to bring decorated bikes, or can even decorate at the park using materials provided.
Other old fashioned family fun will include:
- Crafts for kids
- Potato sack races
- A watermelon seed spitting contest
- Face-painting and other games.
Held at Womble Park, near downtown Holly Springs, NC.
