Cary NC Celebrates Fourth of July

Fireworks, Band Concert, Parade, Fishing Tournament, and More!

Friday July 3 7:30 pm - Sertoma Independence Eve Celebration

Enjoy the Cary Town Band as they help celebrate Independence Day at Fred G Bond Metro Park.  Free, open to the public.

Saturday July 4th, 8am - 3 pm - Independence Day Olde Time Celebration

  • Parent-Child Fishing Tournament
  • Parade in the Park
  • Games and Competitions (Donut Eating, Watermelon Seed Spitting, more)
  • Food and Fun

Held at the Fred G Bond Metro Park, near the waterfront.  

Saturday July 4th, 7:30-10am - Fishing Tournament

  • Registration starts 7:30 am
  • Prizes awarded for largest, smallest fish
  • Age groups: 0-10 yrs, 11-17 yrs, 18+ yrs

Saturday July 4th, 10 am - "Parade in the Park"

  • Drive, ride, or walk
  • Starts at Kiwanis Shelter, ends at Boathouse
  • Awards will be given
  • Ages 0-10
