Buyers and sellers want to work with agents who they believe are knowledgeable and who can show they are successful.  A great way to demonstrate to potential customers that you are that agent is to keep track of your success rate.

Agents will quote the market averages for their area but how many know what their numbers are?  A great question to ask the seller if you are in competition for the listing is does the other agent know their own personal statistics.

You need to track:  

  • Average Time on Market for Your Listings
  • Ratio of Sales Price to List Price

These are powerful statistics so use them to build your business and personal marketing campaign.puzzle

Thanks for reading and commenting on my post.  When you said elevator pitch it made me think that another great number to know is your average price per square ft verses the average obtained by other agents.

Numbers are must. Im amazed how many realtors dont know. You have to know what the deal is or you just wont make it. People  can tell quickly if you knoiw the deal .
