Santa In SandMany of us in real estate wrap up our transactions and then take a brief respite away for the Fourth of July holiday. Everyone is so busy all the time, the break is good. But do you know

Candy Canes In July Mean You Should Wake Up?

I see these Christmas in July events and sales. Check the calendar. Less than six months of shopping days left. It illustrates to me cycles and also the swift passage of time. Friends tell me, where did those last ten years go? Life they say is a vapor, moving along.

Enjoy each day, but above all wake up, and make the MOST of each day you are given.

Santa Gary

Gary... I am always on the look out for a gift early in the year.  If I wait, I will forget.   The sale sign is likely to pull me in!

Hi Gary Cute pictures.  When I own my own gift shop ( before real estate ) I always hated the fact that in the spring we purchased winter items for Christmas, at Christmas season we ordered summer  supplies.  It was so abnormal.  You really never had enough time to be in the real time   ( I hope I explained that )  I loved being a buyer for my own store and that is just a part of marketing and purchasing.  Anyway this picture of a sand snowman did bring back my gift shop days

Gary - I love your snowman made from beach sand:-)  I'm having great difficulty wrapping my mind around the idea that we are already through 2009.  But alas, so we are!

Gary - I was just commenting yeserday how half the year is over.  Like you I find it very motivating...if only we could keep the motivation high throughout the year.

I am about ready to let Christmas go. It is a lot of work: decorating, shopping, cleaning, entertaining and paying for all the extras.

Gary, I love the hat!  I am working on the 5th, no long holiday for me but this is always a busy month.  I hope to get my vacation in the end of August...at which time there will be even LESS shopping days left.  It's still raining here, if it were winter we'd be buried in SNOW--lucky you :)

Ho Ho Ho to you Gary! I love the snowman in the sand..I don't believe I've ever seen that before.  I think a little snow would look pretty refreshing for the folks in 100 plus degree temps!  Isn't July the time of year when people who leave their Christmas lights up can say they are just getting a jump on the season? LOL

You have to love Christmas in July. And to think that there is less than 6 months left.. this year is going by too quickly.

Hi Gary, Love to see the snowman in the sand. Time does pass so quickly. I wish it would slow down a bit.

Gary - While other agents slack this time of year, I know it's time for me to get busy.  This year sucked but with any luck the leads I generate today will make foe a successful 2010.
