Meme 1. I have 2 children: An 11 year old boy, Ethan and a 7 year old girl, Kate. I also have 3 step-children: A 12 year old girl, Caitlynn, a 17 year old boy, Richie and a 20 year old boy, Kevin. (No, I am not old enough to be a 'mom' to the 17 year old and 20 year old.)
Meme 2. Well, meme 1 leads me to this one...There is an 11 year age difference between me and my hubby! ;) Age is only a number, right? (My EX is my age and that didn't work out, so why not!)
Meme 3. I have spent part of almost every summer (and many trips in between) since I was born at Sebago Lake, Maine. The long story short: My great-grandmother moved there many moons ago and bought summer cottages down the street from the lake...they've stayed in the family since. My mom and dad are currently the owners. My kids have the pleasure of being the 5th generation to vacation there. If you've never been to Maine...GO! It's so nice!
Meme 4. When I went back to college after I got divorced, I was planning on completeing my Bachelors degree in Education. At the time when I HAD to declare a major, I was taking a bunch of Art electives so I HAD to declare my major as Art and then plan on changing it the following semester. Well, I ended up pursuing the ART degree instead! I got cold feet about standing in front of a room full of kids all day! (tee-hee!)
Meme 5. I enjoy cooking for a crowd. I don't enjoy it when it's just 2 or 3 people, but when it's for a full house, Oh, I love it! I love big family dinners and I know I get it from my mom. Her house has been the destination for every holiday or party for the last few years...everyone just ASSUMES that she is hosting the holidays. Unfortunately I am over 900 miles away from my whole family so that won't be happening too often here. My dream is to host a big Christmas Eve open house every year...just like my grandfather used to and like my mom does now.
