Looking for a little something different to do on the Fourth? Check out Alley Cat's hot dog eating contest. Proceeds go to send care packages to United States soldiers abroad. You will have 12 minutes to eat the most hot dogs and there is $1,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs. Alley Cat is located on College Street in uptown Charlotte.
