According to the article Most Expensive Homes In The U.S. on Forbes.com the country's priciest properties include a $135 million Aspen, Colorado, ranch $125 million Versailles-inspired estate in Beverly Hills, California. Although, the price acceleration seems ludicrous there is much less supply than demand with respect to mega mansions with acres of land to spare. Furthermore, the net worth of the buyers and the sellers is that they can do what they want; it's true the rules of the real estate market do not apply.
