Continued from Week 4
I suppose I have to give up pretending that I've been holding up my end of the bargain here. So, I'll be changing the titles to reflect the post number. In all honesty, I think I'm on Week 10. That being said, Growth Leader is definitely delivering!
Once again, for info on the horses, see Week 1.
Let's see how the race is going....
Growth Leader comes out of the second turn with a full head of steam and a four-length lead. He is about 2 widths off of the rail and shows no real sign of slowing. The pace is fast, but he looks to be cruising. The jockey glances under his right arm to sneak a peek at the rest of the field and has to be happy with what he sees.
EastLouHomes is holding steady, but his rider is working much harder to keep him in contention. Every stride requires full attention and it seems to be everything the tandem can do just to stay within striking distance. At this point, it is hard to imagine the horse will have what it takes to overcome the leader.
What's this?!
Chance has picked up the pace and is actually gaining on both leaders. Four solid contacts during the last week via AR have given new life to this contestant. Her head is down and her hooves barely seem to touch the dirt as she moves alongside EastLouHomes. The crowd lets out a roar in recognition of the both the move and of the likelihood of an unexpected payout.
Leadstreet is still running, but is so far off the pace, that the rest of the race is really for pride. Both jockey and thoroughbred seem confused. It is really hard to tell whether this is just a bad day or the stallion is simply out of his league. If there is any good news for the owners, it is that the investment was minimal.
The same cannot be said for Nameless. This high-priced horse is now running at the back of the pack. The rider continues to fight a loose saddle and what appears to be a beaten horse. At this point, the couple are 15 lengths back and fading.
Heading back up to the leaders....OH NO! Nameless is down! Nameless is down! Both horse and rider are on the dirt just before the 1/2 mile marker. The rest of the riders are oblivious and continue to drive their mounts toward the far end of the backstretch. In fact, only about one-third of the crowd has noticed. It looks like the medical staff is scrambling to the ambulance. One can only hope that horse and rider will get up.

Translation...
GL continues to deliver leads. The week-to-week pace has been fairly steady although I may get 3 on one day and none for the next few. I've run into 6 people who have agents already. All-in-all, I find it somewhat humorous that their agent doesn't have a website/IDX solution.
AR delivered big time this week. I'll probably write about it separately, but I am now working with 3 buyers who found me through AR. Additionally, a seller contacted me this evening!
Not to beat a dead-horse, but if Vision incorporated neighborhoods that were recognizable in Louisville, I'd strongly consider dropping my other IDX solution. Even if I kept it, I would definitely redirect traffic through GL. The client management is just that easy.
