The Western Wake Farmers Market has been a roaring success building raving fans for two months now! Located in front of Carpenter Village off of Morrisville Carpenter Road between Davis and 55, the location is good for all of West Cary & Morrisville.

Care2.com is having a "love your farmers market" contest and the winning market gets not only the honor and priviledge of being #1  on the Farmers Market lists (we all know how Cary loves to be on lists!), the winning market also gets a $5,000 dollar grant to make their shoppers experience better.

Jay-Z and the gang have worked very hard to make Western Wake rock, please show them you love the market by voting & spreading the word!

Go HERE and select Western Wake Farmers Market to vote!

Please stop by the market every Saturday morning!

I've got to get by there one Saturday morning.  I've heard the fresh seafood is awesome!  Not sure about voting.  Do we really want everyone to know about the market.  I have visions of long lines at day break and missing out on all of the goodies because we did not get there early enough.

I highly suggest not voting for this market. They did not tell the farmer's that they might have thirty days to get off the property if the owners want the land back. How ethical is that, or the fact that the several present board members stole the market  and all their ideas off of another management company and the founders? Which they viciously pushed out verbally and with actions. Maybe they  have finally told the farmers the truth.

This is public knowledge with many witnesses. Great famer's who are innocent! but unethical game players in the board members. One even sells her jewelry at the market? How did she get around the non-profit status??  One so far has apologized for their actions and treatment of members outside of their personal circle, but the others have not given a formal apology. All this and the fact that the president has written a "How the market" got started which is not entirely factual and would not correct the information when asked for a retraction.   Keep the market, but change the board members.

Kudos! to Free Speech!

The only thing better than free speech is Anonymous free speach! Somebody stole an idea to donate all of their time to manage a non-profit farmers market? What is the motive?

I will leave this up because it is everything that I am against.

Don't hate, congradulate!
