PORT ARANSAS, Texas - Plans were recently announced for a three-story, state-of-the-art, eco-friendly research facility on the University of Texas Marine Science Institute (UTMSI) campus. The building will be headquarters for the Mission Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) and provide additional offices and labs for UTMSI.
