It's July 4th And I Just Got Back From LBI!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I spent the last 5 days at Long Beach Island (or often known as LBI), relaxing and having fun! We had fabulous weather even though it was not forecasted by the weather channel. I wish everyone a Happy And Wonderful July 4th Celebration, and I hope to see and hear from you all soon. If you would like to share anything that you have done that is exciting over the 4th, please feel free to do so. Phyllis, I have never heard of the Long Beach you mentioned, but it sounds wonderful. I am on the left coast in the Pacific Northwest, Port Townsend, WA. We have a beautiful beach and our little town puts on a fireworks display. It was really a good one, and on TV I saw Seattles show and it was great! We too are having balmy perfect weather. In the office, the phones are starting to ring, and a few people are wandering in looking for listings and maps. Feels good. Have a happy summer.

Hi Sandra!

Long Beach Island is probably like the place you were at on the 4th. It is an island about 18 miles long with several little sleepy beach towns. It is off the coast of NJ. NJ has really nice beaches that are very popular in the summer. You've been lucky to have good weather. Our month of June was awful. It consisted of days of heavy downpours. But, we're off to a good start in July. So far, we've had great weather in July and it looks good all week (according to the weather channel). Anyway, I am happy to go back to work. Here too the phones are ringing, and I am really hopeful for a good 2nd half of the year. Have a great summer, too! Thanks for the good wishes. Feel free to keep in touch.
