Over the years I have had many clients that are relocating to Austin ask me 'What fun things are there to do in and around Austin?' The list is far to long to write here, but I will leave you with a few of my summer time favorites.

Children's Day for Art in the Park is held at the Symphony Square Amphitheater on Wednesday mornings. This event runs from June 10th-July 29th. The fun starts in the cool mornings at 9:00am-11:30. This event often includes paint, so wear appropriate clothes!

Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park is held at the Hartman Concert Park in the Long Center. For more details on the performances please visit their website: www.AustinSymphony.org. July 12th- Patriotic themed music, July 19th Light classical large string ensemble, July 26th mixed woodwinds performs classical music.

Gourmet Chili Pepper & Salsa Festival is going to be held on July 24-26 on The Wildseed Farms in Fredricksburg TX. You can sample and buy hand crafted salsa and organic peppers from all over Texas. For more details you may visit their website at :wwwTex-Fest.com/gcp/index.htm

Unplugged at the Grove-Every Thursday starting at 8:00pm there will be a live performance from a local favorite or some famous musicians passing through Austin. To see who is performing this week check out www.KGSR.com to see the lineup.
