Entrance To The Trail Of Memories - AZ Veterans Memorial - BHC AZ 86442

Lazy Harry's is a favorite watering hole on the River (fun place with live music!) and one of the best free public boat launches in our area, heavily populated on weekends such as this one.

If you're out there, take a few minutes to walk along the River on the Trail Of Memories, part of the Arizona Veterans Memorial.

It's an awesome place to enjoy the River and pay respects to those who defended us over the years.

Luna and I number it among our FAVORITE places to 'go walkie'! :)

That looks like a great place to go for a walk, and if you get tired or hot, just jump in the river!

It sure is, Jim! And if you get really hot you can go to Lazy Harry's and have something cold! :) Lunapup likes to splash in the water . . . it is a special spot.

What a wonderful walk that would be. Your head would definitely be in a better place when you finished than when you started.

That's why we came for a vacation in 1993 and never left. It is one big attitude adjustment . . . :)

This looks like a great place to take my dogs for a walk. (If it were a little closer).

I just noticed your from AZ. Jeez, it must be hotter than blazes there now. Luna would love the water.

Yeah it is -- but the River is still nice and cool. And Luna is a river dog to the max. :)

Candice - you went there for a holiday and ended up staying? Wow that is very interesting. Had you been there before that? You should write a post about it. What gives people the urge to call a place home. What pulls at people to settle in certain areas.
