Marchel, we have been fortunate to receive our fair share of rain this year although we're still watering a couple times per week.

Dona, I have heard that there are amendments you can add to the soil that will affect the color of the blooms. Since I can't recall what the amendents are at the moment, you might want to consult with a local master gardener.
