But there is another bargain to be aware of before you begin. Shop for a great real estate agent because your Realtor is the most important person in your transaction.

How do you decide on your criteria for choosing a real estate agent? Here's a tip. A big mistake home buyers can make is skipping from agent to agent to shop for their dream home. Don't! Instead make it your intention to find an agent you are going to stick with.

One of my larger sales was to the buyer of a multi-million dollar home here on Kauai that came from an up-call inquiry.  While I think I'm a great agent indeed, it was surprising that he didn't ask anything at all about my qualificiations and background.  I've seen NAR stats somewhere showing that most clients work with the first agent they talk to.
