Well, its July 6th and Austin already has 5 more days over 100 degrees than the average entire summer. So what are you going to do if your not one of the lucky ones that has a pool, to stay cool? Sit inside and watch TV, YAWN. Go see a movie, thats only two hours and around $100 for a family. Turn the sprinkler on and run through it, no there is water conservation and you can only do that before 10:00am or after 7:00p.m. two days a week.

Hey. This is Austin, and guess what. There are lots of lakes, rivers, creeks, natural swimming holes, and city pools to go to and cool off. So if you live here, just visiting or are planning on moving to Austin, this is one of the most important list that you need. Places to stay cool. So be sure and print this out and keep it handy, because you will want to use it often. Oh, and there is one thats not on here, Hippy Hollow on Lake Travis, where you CAN take off all your clothes. (don't take the kids)
Be sure and visit these places, have fun, and above all please be safe and don't swim alone.
Special thanks to Allison Craig, Gracy Title Cedar Park, for providing this list.
