Timbers' ‘Concert in the Park' Series Continues
with Classical Music
The Timbers of Shorewood's summer "Concert in the Park" series continues at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 1100 North River Road, Shorewood. Pianist and Singer Arkady Bodner and The Tenors 3 will provide classical music at the outdoor event.
Singer, Arkady Bodner will perform, playing music from around the world on the piano, accordion and keyboard. Guests will enjoy a variety of numbers from polka to swing.
The Tenors 3 will perform immediately following with assorted music ranging from opera, Broadway, ethnic songs, and holiday favorites. The Tenors 3 is a professional trio of classically trained tenor vocalists, including Oscar Menoyo, David Carmona, and Richard Gersten.
Various members of The Tenors 3 have been professionally engaged by the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Florentine Opera, Elgin Opera, Chamber Opera, the Festival Chorus and the Grant Park Symphony Chorus.
The "Concert in the Park" series is a monthly outdoor concert of live performances by top musicians. It takes place at Timbers of Shorewood's outdoor patio and is free and open to the public.
The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments as well as a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay - a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
