In an earlier post I mentioned the Public Meeting that will be held this evening regarding the Wake Forest Community Plan! This is a reminder that the hearing is scheduled for 7:30pm and is to be held in the Board Chambers at the Wake Forest Town Hall. (401 Elm Avenue)
Some highlight of the Community Plan are:
- Keeping a small town feeling and identity
- Promoting a more walkab le and bikeable community
- Creating an expanded park and open space system
- Directing balanced, compatible commercial development
- Enhancing Wake Forest as a destination for arts and culture
- Facilitating a vibrant, pedestrian friendly downtown
Don't miss this opportunity to become a part of shaping our dynamic community! For more information please contact Wake Forest Planning Director, Chip Russell at (919) 554-6142.
