There were only 11 reported sales in Tate County MS for the month of June. I believe this number may be somewhat in error due to slow reporting of sales in the local MLS. The average sales price was $115,695 and the average days on the market for the sold properties was 154 days.
Of the reported properties that sold in the month of June, 36% were foreclosure sales (REO, HUD, etc.).
Here are the corresponding figures for last month and last year:
May 2009
Sold: 13 Avg $121,290 Avg DOM: 200
June 2008
Sold: 17 Avg $130,871 Avg DOM: 83

Currently, there are 179 Active residential listings in Tate County MS representing a 12.5 month supply of inventory. The prices range from $32,000 to $1,300,000 with the median price being $169,000. The percentage of active listings that are "foreclosures" is 7.8%.
