Thanks for checking up on me… I’m alright

For the past two years, I have had pretty much a daily routine, one post in the morning, on in the evening, but this last Saturday afternoon I posted a “I don’t feel like typing Saturdays” post and then went for over 48 hours without a post.

Well, starting this morning, I started getting calls. The first one was more of a question if Activerain was working properly and didn’t ask where I was, but the next four calls all asked if everything was alright since I hadn’t posted in a couple days. Two asked if I had actually run out of ideas and blog posts.

Well, everyone, I did actually run out of pre-written posts, but I certainly didn’t run out of post ideas! Here is what has happened: last week we started moving and between all my buyers and sellers I’ve been working with and that, I just haven’t had the time!

That is when they started asking about my pre-recording them with my voice recorder and having my voice recognition software translate the posts like had in the past. WELL, let me say after close to the 3 years I believe I have had the wonderful AT&T 8125 phone that I learned to use, and used it to help me with my business, last Monday it was finally time to upgrade!

I upgraded to what some consider the Holy Grail of cell phones, (the Iphone) but the problem is I haven’t figured out how to record full blog posts and then transfer them to my PC for translation. I keep trying, but it is recording 30 seconds of my post and then shuts off. So, I’ve been having to just record my idea and hopefully when I get more time, I will be able to get back to my habit of one post in the morning and one post at night.

So, watch out Activerain, I will be back. If someone wants to tell me of an application that will speed up my learning curve on the recording my blog posts that would be great!
