The White Flag is Waiving~~~~ I Need Help, Now What!

Real Estate Agent with Cherimie Crane & Associates

Success comes at a price but at what price and when, is my question. Please do not misinterpret this post as a complaint. Everyday I realize just how fortunate I am to enjoy success in a market that is challenging the best of the best.

Marine 1 Realty is only 3.5 months old, yet we are already a serious force in the industry. Hard-work, courage, and timing are credited right along side with the unwavering, staggering, endlessly faithful clients that walk through my door daily.

So, whaty is my problem??? I don't like doing anything any less than 100%. I am no math major, but something tells me fairly soon, something isn't going to get that 100% if I continue at this rate.

I am the Broker-in-Charge. I am also the receptionist, trainer, housekeeper, fax fixer, copy maker, social organizer, mail sorter, yada yada....you get my point.

Marine 1 Realty has the exclusive listing rights to Carolina Village. Carolina Village is, to date, my pride and joy. Working closely with the builders I was able to turn an entire community around and as a bonus, sell a boat load of houses.

Ok..I know WHAT IS MY PROBLEM..???

The success of Carolina Village has made the phones ring!!! Not just prospective buyers, but developers, builders, OTHER REAL ESTATE COMPANIES, and believe it or not, major marketing firms...

I get the same question over and over..."How are you doing it?"

I am doing more lunches and dinners than a girl can possible maintain. All of the sudden, this Mississippi girl that was just a new agent a few years ago...is pretty darn popular....

So what does this mean?? When my favorite cami-wearing clients come running through my door with coffee...I am on the phone. :(

Those cami-wearing, coffee bringing, raspy voice talking fellas made me a success. I can't NOT have time to speak with them..... I can't not go visit them! I can't forget why there is MARINE 1 REALTY!!!!!

I need advice, I need help, I need agents who can keep up with the pace of our office....

Wow Cherimie, if I wasn't so busy here I would come on down, roll my sleeves up and help your cute and dedicated self! Hire more dedicated agents like yourself and you need an office manager! Growth is good! Good luck!

You definitely are experiencing growing pains!  If I were inclined to move that way I'd be happy to help, but alas ...

I'm sure if you do some serious recruiting you will wind up with the help you need.  You remind me of a cat - 9 lives and always lands on her feet.  You go, girl!  You can do it!

Congratulations on the awesome success...  don't you love it when a plan comes together.  A buyers agent assistant would be a dream hire.  Good commission split and can take some of the burden off you.  WIshing you continued success Cherimie!

Good morning Little Lady.  The ole Gunny just has a few words to share.  You believed it would happen, and that's why it did.  Simple rule, but true.

Now it is time to D E L E G A T E................. If someone can do what you do at least 80% as well, then delegate the tasks. This is the only way you can grow. Take that note from the forutne 500 bunch.

I love watching your growth and excitement.

Always "ask" for help, its not a sign of weakness, its a sign of courage!  Go get em.

Cherimie,

We have so enjoyed reading about your adventures, sounds like you are spread too thin. I hope you are taking time for yourself. If you don't, you will burn out and no one wants that to happen. These guys love you. They know they can call you (and I know they call you lol) for anything. They trust you. Just remember your willingness to drop everything for our cami wearing fellas is mutual. They will come a runnin with coffee for you anytime. Hang in there.

Chermine,

Why are you answering your phone girl? Get some help..you can't be receptionist, trainer, housekeeper, fax fixer, social organizer, etc. if you are going to give quality service and have a life! Delegate is the new word in your vocabulary! You can't grow without actually practicing delegation! Congrats..I know you will be a major force but you can't do it alone.
