sun shining through storm clouds

It was trying to storm, the sky was filled with black clouds, and the sun found a way to shine.  Shot from our back patio.

Wow you guys must love sitting on your back patio and watching storms, sunrises, sunsets.  That is gorgeous.  I must must must start taking some photos as we have wild monsoons in the summer and it is spectacular.

Roy - My pleasure.

Judy - The ray was pretty special that night.  We get them often, but that one was definitely different.

June - You expressed what I was feeling but couldn't say so eloquently.  Thank you for the interpretation.

Anna - We do love our property.  I must say that I've started taking more pictures of our daily life since I've been active on AR.  It is amazing how often we'll look at something and go, "Blog!", and take the picture.  I'd love to see your monsoons.

Robert - Thank you very must for the feature - it is an honor.  Indeed, such photos are really a matter of being in the right place at the right time.  Being a photographer, you will also appreciate the lighting extremes caused some exposure problems.  That is one of the benefits of digital - I could see when the light or dark was affecting the overall balance of the picture.  Thank you again.
