PLEASE ACT IMMEDIATELY,
Sen. Sessions again has an amendment to:
permanently authorize E-Verify, so the pro-amnesty forces can't constantly threaten to kill it if they don't get their way
require all federal contractors to use E-Verify to keep illegal aliens from taking jobs from Americans
We need all of you to place emergency calls to Senators -- especially the 50 who voted to table Sessions' E-Verify amendment on the Stimulus Bill last winter.
202-224-3121
Sen. Schumer (D-N.Y.) who widely takes credit for getting the first mass amnesty passed in 1986 is leading the effort to block the amendment by Sessions (R-Ala.). It is pretty clear that Democrats are being urged by Party leaders to table the amendment so E-Verify can still be used as a bargaining chip for passing an amnesty this fall.
You must pound these Senators for refusing to open up federal contracting jobs to returning veterans and other unemployed Americans.
Ask them if 9.5% unemployment is high enough yet to turn against illegal aliens and stand in favor of unemployed Americans.
If you want to see Senators in other states who need a call, go to this page for a full list of the votes last winter. There you'll see the rogue's gallery of 50 Senators who voted YES to table the amendment and keep government jobs open for illegal aliens.
You should spare no emotion in your calls to these Senators if their staff say they plan to vote against the Sessions amendment or that they "don't know" how they will vote.
When will unemployment ever be high enough for these Senators to say illegal aliens shouldn't have the jobs?

This is totally wrong! Our society seams to think that rewarding the wrong doers is a good thing. Next thing, theft and drunk driving will become OK!
