9 Comments on An Awesome Real Estate Website (Part 4)
Hi Amber. I agree with you about all of this Amber, but I think you hit one of the most important things with your first point. I have never understood the business of ads without prices. Some realtors may think they will get calls from people who want to ask what the price is, but who is calling? I believe in giving prospects as much information as possible, about the listing (vidoes, websites etc.) and the community as well, so that the people show come to showings are the right ones to be there.
@ Bob - Exactly right, I'm not about wasting anyone's time, and it's just as you said, the more info available to prospective buyers, the more likely they'll be the right ones if they do schedule a showing or make an offer. Thanks for the comments!
Amber, thanks for the information. You've given me ideas that I can certainly implement and so I bookmarked your blog for future reference.
@ Dee - Thanks! I appreciate the follow, and I'm very glad it was helpful.
Thanks Amber! Another thing that is important is to measure the rooms and put the sizes in.
@ Monique - Good point, and the windows, too. I just referred my sister to a wonderful agent who took the time to measure the windows and email the dimensions to her. It was very helpful, and I'm sure I'll remember for life that she went out of her way to do that (more referrals for her down the road).
Thank you Amber for the tips. I agree with everything you mentioned especially the photos, and prices of houses. Have a great day Barbara
@ Barbara - Thanks! I'm glad it helps.
When a visitor hits your site you have seconds to attract them as a user of a site. Many agents feel they need to have control over what content the user sees in exchange for registration. Guess what ? Your user has just closed your site. Give your users information, all of the information, and give them special perks in return for registration. One of the most used functionality in our system is the Best Buy Alert. Users can join a hot property email list, that shows them the best buys on the market. This works wonders but the agent must have the expertise to pick out the correct Best Buys.
