A Shot Of Joe Opens Your Eyes To A Reality Of Life
Sometimes you get your best thoughts of reflection after going intravenous with at least two cups of coffee at the beginning of the day.
Are you more a day person or a night person? I am definitely more a night person, but live in both a forced morning and late night world. But sometimes to adapt to getting up really, really early after staying up really, really late the cup of Joe never hurts.
Sometimes it gives you a shot of clarity. I've been following the Michael Jackson unfortunate sudden death from last week through the memorial service for fans and family. I am amazed at listening to talk radio shows how they turn this into such a judgment about his life. Michael Jackson's life like all of us was a composite of his very best and then what would be considered not so very best.
But what it reminded me was that reality whether you believe my conclusion here or not is true.
Life Is Neutral.
You can't ignore laws of physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, cause and effect, that choices have consequences, no matter who you are. No matter famous, rich, or talented. We can't really say life is fair. It looks that way to those that feel they have more than others and deserve it with hard work. We can't say life is unfair, because the rain really does fall on the just and the unjust. Life just "is" and the sooner we understand that the better we are at dealing with the cards dealt us.
However in many card games there is a time to fold, and not keep playing a bad hand. That is where our choices come into play in this "neutral" life. Look at life not happening to you but YOU happening to what life gives you.
