WOW
- I had no idea just HOW MANY Localism posts get written here on Active Rain in any given week!!  I read and read and read, and read some more, and I know I still missed posts.   I had a difficult time choosing those posts to highlight this week because there are so many.

Worker Ant

We have some awesome folks here that are working hard promoting their areas and their services to consumers.  I came upon absolutely stunning photography on some of these posts, and some very poignant stories in some of the posts I read.  It was a joy to read so many wonderful things about areas all over our country.

Ann,

Thanks for mentioning my post on flowers.  I had snapped a few photos in the yard and thought I might share them.  I honestly expected no comments, so this is a big surprise!

Ann - thank you for the mention - Lysa and I had quite a god time and yes "Florida is going to the birds" - I love having these all together so I can read ones I missed. I love localism - its so fun to get inspired by others posts like yours. Have a great day! Again, thanks for thinking of me

Really love the way you laid them out and describe them - this is one of my favorite "weeks in reviews" I've read - great model for others in the futurel. :-)

Diane - you are very welcome!  I loved your post, and as I mentioned in a comment on that post, I have a number of family members who've served in the military, so I'm always touched by events and places that honor those who serve.  Thank you for sharing that museum with us.

Hi Lysa - You are very welcome!!  I loved the pictures you and Cyndee shared in your posts - I watch the birds in my back yard with binoculars so I really appreciated seeing all the various birds you two had such great pictures of.  Team work for sure there!!

I enjoyed reading all the posts I did, and it was a pleasure to highlight these great posts in this Week in Review.  It was tough narrowing down the choices to a manageable number to include here.   I think it's nice to include a cross-section of Localism posts - listings, staging, mortgage, area info, etc., assuming there are posts that merit being included in these Weeks in Review.  This week I had the pleasure of so much wonderful reading!

I am hoping to be down for the 23rd - still trying to work around my schedule and some other things I had already had planned.  But I do hope to be there - I'd love to meet Florida AR members that I didn't get to meet in April, as well as seeing again those I had the pleasure of already meeting.  That should be a FUN time!

Love my extra star - thank YOU!!!

Ann,

Just became familiar with your localism review. It's a much appreciated resource.

We're pterry much the same market conditions here in South Lake Tahoe that the rest of the country is seeing. As such, we're telling the truth, making it public and doing everything we can to help turn the market around. Mostly that has to do with making real estate information public. Goal is to provide resource to help Sellers adjust, then accept new market reality.

We're doing this 24/7 on our Lake Tahoe Real Estate Blog. Check it out: www.laketahoerealestateblog.com. All  current market statistics are found in our left side bar.

Thanks Again for your post.

That was a welcome surprise! That is some blog with lots of thought and research! I am glad to be included. I agree with you that Chris of Bonita Springs has a neat showcase system. Yours  June in New Hampshire - Fun Things to Do Around the State is important info! People want to know what are the fun things to do in one area or the other. Localism can be approached from so many different angles. This gives us ideas on how to give a local and personal  flavor to our blogs and show our pride in our own state and county.

Thank you for the honorable mention and thanks for taking the time to compile this.  I am lagging a bit behind so "best of" always helps me catch some good ones!

OOPS!  I forgot to add that I love Leslie's and it wasn't a paid advertisement for them or anything,  it was mainly a customer testimonial!  They fix pool cleaners for free when you buy parts, test pool water for free whenever you want it tested, give free tips, etc.  They give their customer a ton of freebies and keep them coming back time after time buying their supplies!
