It's been many years since I worked with a Buyer wanting to use his VA certificate to obtain a loan and purchase a house. In the last month and a half I have submitted 5 offers on bank owned properties and every time the listing agent has informed me the bank has accepted another offer. Needless to say my Buyers and I are getting quite frustrated!
Our offers are over list price, complete filled out and accompanied by two pre-approval letters from nationally recognized institutions. None of these properties have closed yet since this is all just happening; don't know if others are offering even more. I am getting ready to present our 6th offer and I'm starting to wonder about something an agent in my office said,
"If it's a VA loan, the banks won't accept it".
Is this so?
