With the New Town Center coming along, a new builder on the scene building lovely new homes in Lovettsville, it's time for a new Post Office.  It's on the way.

The old Post Office is staffed with wonderfully friendly folks who will also help us from the new location.

Welcome to Lovettsville. A quiet place with a comfortable small town atmosphere AND the excitement of new construction, new shops, new employment centers nearby, highly ranked public schools and convenient commuting routes. Lovettsville real estate is growing, but not losing it's small town charm.

Three years ago when I moved to my new home in Lovettsville, the population was about 900 folks.  It's now estimated to be about 1150.  We're growing.

Hi Lenn!  Excellent information on Lovettsville's new post office--and, of course, your amazing map!  That's quite a population explosion in three short years too!

Debe.  It's all from new home residents.  Not many, but growth nevertheless.

Mary.  Thanks.  Growth is good.  We're pretty tapped out for more subdivisions with the new zoning laws.  Not going to have communities like this one.

Bill.  Indeed.  However, the next nearest is in Waterford and it's even smaller.  Purcellville is 12 miles away.  I have P.O. box there and one in Lovettsville.  The Lovettsville PO boxes are too small for a file so I had to go to Purcellville.

I love living in the country.

Lenn that is a big building, you could probably fit half of the town's population in there :) :)

Lenn - looks like the USPO is planning for future growth - smart. But wow, I lived in a town of 3000 in Massachusetts and I thought THAT was SMALL!

Seems like a big post office for 1100 people. You need to sell some more homes and bring in a lot more folks to use the post office.

George.  Indeed.  The little PO we have not is very, very crowded.  They don't even have room for large PO Boxes.

Jim.  A great friendly place.

Jeff.  We are quite rural.  Many more horses than folks.

Terry.  I just closed one end of March.  Need more.

Lou.  Yep, and growing.

That pic on the left reminds me of a few of our local post offices, that are a step above a closet. They always make me laugh.

Hi Lenn -- I used to live in Reston and Great Falls.  I used to ride my bike in the 1980s on the WO&D trail when Ashburn was bucolic fields, not massive residential developments.  The growth in NoVA is mind boggling.

Chris.  Folks who don't know Loudoun County are shocked when they see the dynamic growth in the Ashburn, Sterling area.  We have both growth in businesses and housing.

Steve.  We have one of them in almost every hamlet.
