Sometimes a buyer from Connecticut or New Jersey or somewhere on the planet, jumps in their car...races north driving all night...not calling ahead..and ta da...they are here at 5:30 sunday morning ready to look at 50 to 60 homes...want to see all of them...they'll know when they see the right one but can't quite put a finger on what the right one might look like. Have to explain that sunday sellers even though they would like to sell, don't really want to see us as they are heading to church or sitting down to sunday dinner. They want some warning we are coming so they can tidy up or mentally prepare to change their plans. We like to do the same thing on sundays. Some are truely surprised that we are not bounding to the jeep and starting the sunrise to sundown marathon as sunday has become just another day in their area...drive thru brokers, part time working all week at their regular jobs and then all weekend peddling property. We have to work when others are available but a day or even a half day off is nice. When you are in the nursing home, you won't look back and lament that you should have worked more sundays...you will think you should have climbed more mountains with the kids, grandkids or spent more time on your knees in the garden or in church! Or pulling water skiiers at the lake, grilling burgers and enjoying sunsets with a camp fire and stories about the old folks and good memories from days gone by and future plans as we all grow older! Maine people enjoy life..work hard during the week, but enjoy the great outdoors all four seasons!
The coloring is magnificent! Is that a camp ground. Barely see something like grills and a body on the right..or am I imagining that ?
