Is the market gaining momentum?
I’m pleased to report that I see strong activity throughout the communities of Frederick, Smithsburg, Hagerstown, Boonsboro and Williamsport. I’m currently and consistently showing and writing contracts for the properties priced correctly in this areas, this further reinforce the importance of pricing properties reflecting the current market conditions, I had received multiple offers in some of my listings just because of price, so if you are thinking about selling your property and want to sell fast you need to be more aggressive pricing your home, be a motivated seller, You have a product you want to sell, your home, this is the easy part, finding a buyer is the hard part, it is all about price!!! Much of the unsold inventory that has been on the market for long time it is overpriced, so, inventory remains high, but I think that activity will increase in the next couple months from first time home buyers that want to take advantage of low interest mortgages and the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit that is available for qualified first time home buyers purchasing a principal residence before expires on December 1 2009, so if you If you're in the market for your first home this is it!!!
